The PMA A-NZ Produce Development Program – Business Skills for Emerging Leaders gives the next generation of produce industry leaders in Australia and New Zealand the tools they need to achieve excellence for themselves and their businesses.

Participants will learn crucial professional skills including effective communication, commercial acumen and strategic thinking to help drive themselves, their companies and the industry as a whole to the next level. The program uses various practical and applied learning methods with produce industry content chosen in consultation with PMA A-NZ to ensure program relevance and practicality.

  • Registration fee:
    $4,950 plus GST for PMA A-NZ members
    $5,450 plus GST for non-members
    (credit cards incur a 2% surcharge)
  • Group Discounts:
    Get 10% off (per person) for 2 participants, 15% for 3 or 20% for 4 or 5.

Who is it for and how many places are there?

Each program is limited to a max of 24 participants. It is suitable for commercial staff, first level managers and next generation leaders across all business functions and throughout the produce supply chain.

Program Format

The 3 day, fully residential format comprises a mix of experiential learning activities, a business simulation, case studies and the application of learning through team presentations to PMA executives. These action learning methods will continually link back to the participants’ real world issues and situations identified in pre-program goal setting discussions between each participant, their manager and the Program Director.
